A couple of weeks ago I was asked to review The 26-week Internet Marketing Plan presented by David Bain of Purple Internet Marketing, I must admit I was a bit apprehensive when the box containing the materials for the plan arrived as it contained 4 DVD’s, 4 workbooks, a planner and 8 CD’s, however from the moment I put on the first DVD I was hooked.

The 26-week Internet Marketing Plan is a comprehensive training course which in my opinion should be added to the amoury of any company that is serious about building up their internet presence. David Bain has an easy going style which captures the attention of the audience thus enabling him to cover the topics to a degree of depth without overloading the viewer.

Take a look at this sample and see for yourself:

This video was embedded using the YouTuber plugin by Roy Tanck. Adobe Flash Player is required to view the video.

The 26-week Internet Marketing Plan is on schedule to launch today at 12 noon GMT.

I have just been informed that there are a couple of special offers available for early birds:

Firstly, the first 10 people to purchase the 26 Week Plan will receive a complimentary 45-minute one-on-one telephone consultancy call with David Bain. This call will take place in late April so people first of all have an opportunity to study the 26 Week Plan.

Secondly, everyone who purchases the 26 Week Plan within the first 7 days will gain access to a special ‘26 Week Plan Implementation’ teleseminar to be held in mid-April.

The 26-week Internet Marketing Plan is available from Purple Internet Marketing for an all inclusive price of £399 click here for more details and to purchase.

  • Last June when I wrote Why do people abandon online shopping baskets? one of the reasons I listed was that the site requiring registration before purchase puts off many online shoppers.

It warmed the cockles of my heart when I received this notification earlier:

Advanced MP3 Players are pleased to announce yet more enhancements to their affiliate offering. Firstly there is an improved checkout process which simplifies things for the customer.

    • New customers no longer required to create an account
    • 2 page checkout
    • More graphical / icon based
    • Simplified selection of delivery methods

I am convinced that this improvement in the Advanced MP3 Players checkout process will dramatically improve conversion rates, I hope they will release some figures in a couple of months time.

Advanced MP3 Players are managed by Existem Affiliate Program Management and can be found on the following networks:- Paid On Results, Affiliate Window, Affiliate Future and TradeDoubler.

If perchance you actually came here looking for the Advanced MP3 Players web site click here to go straight there.

Facebook, Myspace and Bebo the three most popular social networking sites in the UK all recorded a drop in UK users during January.

Facebook the leading UK social networking site saw drop of almost 5% to around 8.5 million users in January compared to 8.9 million in December, this is on the back of seventeen consecutive monthly increases.

So has the bubble burst? Will the slide continue?

Facebook was once touted as being worth $15 billion, what price now?

Facebook will certainly be praying its just a blip after the massive investments they have made on servers. Maybe advertisers will suddenly take to investing in Facebook flyers, I’m not convinced.

Maybe the Web 2.0 app Sociagami could be the social networking savior as it allows users to Mash Facebook and MySpace into one application, time will tell.

  • I was recently contacted by Steve of vccp.com, part the 02 marketing team, he asked me if I’d be interested in trialling the new O2 phone, well anyone who knows me I’m always up for a freebie, my Fashion Blog is littered with reviews of various items of apparel that I’ve been sent, so naturally I agreed.

On Tuesday morning a carrier delivered my brand spanking O2 XDA Orbit 2 and wow what a phone.

The key features of this little beauty are:

    • 3 Megapixel camera
    • On-board GPS
    • Microsoft Windows Mobile v6 Pro

One of the reasons I’ve never taken to mobile phones in a big way is that the tiny keys and my numb arthritic fingers are incompatible, not a problem anymore, the Orbit 2 comes with a touch screen and a neat little stylus.

Early days yet as I’m still finding my way round the phone however its an interesting experience accessing the internet via mobile, shows how big and cumbersome some landing pages are, for navigating web pages a neat innovation is to be able to scroll up, down, left and right by sliding a finger across the screen, and its nice to know I can now get onto MSN when I’m out and about and check my emails too.

The software on the phone includes Word, Powerpoint and Excel so I’ll be able to write articles for my blogs when away from home without taking a laptop, and its simply a matter of plugging the phone into the computer to transfer the files.

The software and the internet connection mean I now truly have a mobile office all built into a palm sized phone.

Other features that I’ve not really had time to look at include, digital radio, mp3 player, wifi, bluetooth, a decent resolution camera, and other things that come standard on phones these days like video and a couple of games.

Mustn’t forget the basic phone / text functions and task manager, they are dead simple too, a couple of taps with the stylus or a fingertip and bobs your uncle.

Oh and now if I get lost while I’m out the GPS navigation will soon sort me out.

I’m finding it hard to resist playing with all the functions at the moment but all the time I’m learning more about what the My Office ON A Phone is capable of.

The Xda blog can be found here.

  • I Am Not A Drug Dealer

A friend emailed me the other day to ask if I had changed my vocation as his works firewall had blocked this website and returned the following message:

    SurfControl – Access Denied

Access to* **_www.keithbond.co.uk_* has been denied by SurfControl

*_www.keithbond.co.uk_* is categorized as:* Illegal Drugs*

WTF a bit of investigation and it seems the problem post was CoReg Made Simple, as far as I knew at the time Coreg is simply an abbreviation of co-registration but now I know that Coreg is also the name of a beta-blocker used to treat heart failure and hypertension, and the net nanny Surf Control picked up on this and decided I was an illegal supplier.

Anyway just to set the record straight – I am not a drug dealer and this site has nothing to do with illegal drugs.
