Buy.at acquired by AOL
In my 2008 affiliate marketing predictions I said:
“Consolidation - there have been an awful lot of new network startups in 2007 some good, some bad, some will simply fade away others will stand the test of time, however I predict some consolidation, very possibly we will see two fairly major networks joining forces.”
Well its not quite what I envisaged but AOL have bought Buy.at for an undisclosed sum, the UK affiliate marketing network will operate as a business unit of AOL subsidiary Advertising.com which in turn is part of AOL’s umbrella advertising services offering Platform A.

a4uAwards to be held in June.
Yesterday Mathew Wood of affiliates4u.com announced that the affiliate marketing awards ceremony a4uAwards, which were last year held as part of the inaugural a4uExpo, would this year be held as a separate event on the 5th June at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in Central London.
