I hope the market picks back up soon. Oh, and they also own Pixmania so had an idea of volumes and revenue streams etc. You could have argued that HMV would have gone that way 12 months ago, and indeed that would have made sense. But they didn't and have actually improved this year - and will be helped in 2009 by not having Zavvi around.
