The HD Advice blogging experiment is now 6 weeks old and has just completed its first full month.

For new readers the experiment involves the purchasing of unique articles and publishing them on the blog to see how well they perform, the upshot being if the experiment goes well my source will release his ‘article service’ to a wider market.

Have to be honest I have done very little with HD Advice this month, 3 new outsourced articles have been published:

Plus I wrote a review of Setanta Sports.

Stats:
Well as predicted last month the blog on here caused a little spike with 72 visitors that day but it settled back at the 45 mark for the following few days then steadily grew in stature to a peak of 164 visits on 22nd October.

Altogether HD Advice received 1354 unique visitors in October, who found the site using 364 different keyphrases 82 of which got more than one hit and the highest achiever accrued a massive 210 hits.

Revenue:
Revenue has been pretty steady throughout the month with a grand total of £91.84 in commissions being generated to add to the £6 from September.

For November I am just going to let the site continue to plod along, there will probably be a couple more outsourced articles published and if I get chance amongst Christmas stuff maybe I will test a few things.

I noticed this morning that someone had stumbled one of the articles which is nice, so will probably add social bookmarking links as they could provide a useful source of traffic, thank you to Lee McCoy for waking me up to that area in his presentation at a4uexpo.
