David Fiske has created a marvellous UK affiliate blog aggregator site Fancy UK Affiliate Marketing BlogRoll which pulls in the latest 10 blog posts from UK based affiliate blogs.

The latest blog articles can be viewed either by blog or as a summary of all the blogs mashed together.

I have been asked if Fancy UK Affiliate Marketing BlogRoll is a threat to my own project Internet Marketing Blogs UK and the answer to that is a resounding no, there is plenty of room for both, in my opinion the two compliment each other. Keep up the good work David :o)

When browsing the blogs every now and then I think

“wow that’s inspired, I wish I’d written that”

Well today there are two articles that gave me the “wow” feeling.

Firstly on the Screen Glare Blog:-
Building an Affiliate Program Through A Blog is a fantastic piece aimed at affiliate managers and merchants outlining a very cost effective and easy way of building an affiliate programme, with emphasis on what to do and what to avoid.

The other inspired post that I read this morning is by Dan Morley - affiliate manager of Alpharooms - the article is aimed at the newbie or wannabe affiliate:-
I want to be an affiliate! is a structured approach to getting started in affiliate marketing, and one which should be heeded if the affiliate wants to avoid being just another failure, the article touches on choosing a subject and building a quality website, rather than just chucking up a few links and hoping for the best.

ust over 5 hours since I registered the domain name I am putting my neck on the line and releasing to the world Internet Marketing Blogs UK, born from a seed of an idea many months ago to get as many industry related UK blogs together in one place, inspired by Scott Jangro’s excellent Bumpzee I got back on the case. I dont want this to be purely Affiliate Marketing hence the SEO category and I would certainly like to think before long i’ll be adding Merchants and even some Network blogs to the mix especially as James little has given them the ideal platform to get creative over at Affiliatemanagement.net.Please let me know what you think of Internet Marketing Blogs UK, features and categories you would like to see, either leave a comment here or contact me using the contact form.
